Audience: This learning is designed for emergency department night shift workers; including nurses, ER techs and other workers that interact with patients. These workers have limited access to healthy food overnight. The lack of choices has caused many workers to rely on products like energy drinks and vending machine snacks. Most of these items are high in sugar and lack nutrients that will properly fuel the workers over a 12-hour shift.
Business Problem: The hospital has identified that during the night hours all of the available food options for workers are closed. They have decided to create a snack area with food and food storage available for night workers. They would like the workers to be able to categorize and assemble nutritional eating plans that will help them to sustain energy and balance mood.
Solution: Once learners have completed the training and begun to utilize the new snack center, workers should be able to create small, balanced meals that will help them to maintain more consistency in energy and mood throughout their shift.

Audience: The primary learners for this training will be the individuals that have been identified as part of the company safety team. This team has already been CPR/AED and First Aid Certified. The team includes individuals from each division of the company as well as each shift time.
Business Problem: The business goal for this training is to reduce response time and improve treatments for anyone injured on the job. After a recent accident on the manufacturing floor, several employees have left the company or asked for a transfer citing that they did not feel that the accident was responded to appropriately. The company would like to increase the confidence of the safety team members thus increasing the feeling of safety in the workplace.
Solution: After the training, the learners should feel more confident in dealing with an emergency. They should have a knowledge of the available medical supplies, a clear set of steps to follow and a method for communicating clearly with others involved in the incident.

Instructional Design Process
These learning modules were created through the ADDIE model of instructional design.
Analysis: The business problem, audience, and optimal solution were established.
Design: Through the iterative process of design and discussion, a design document was created.
Development: Articulate 360 was used to develop visually guided learning experiences with frequent knowledge checks and an assessment at the conclusion.
Implementation: As facilitators and learners begin using the learning module, continuous monitoring and improvements are deployed.
Evaluation: The learning solution included assessments that correspond to Kirkpatrick's second and third level of evaluation. The knowledge checks and quiz questions correlate to the second level illustrating new knowledge gained. A 6-month post training survey will be given to employees correlating to third level assessment to determine if there has been a behavioral change since participating in the course. This allows the company to better ascertain the success of the training.
